Good Practice

Volunteer Centre Newcastle is a registered member of Volunteering England. Part of our role as a volunteer centre and Volunteering England member is to promote and help implement good practice.

If you would like more information around areas of good practice, you can contact a member of the Volunteer Centre Newcastle team or visit the Volunteering England website: www.volunteeringengland.org.uk

If you have any questions or queries, why not check out the Frequently Asked Questions section of this website?

Volunteers' Week - Volunteer Voice special edition

To everyone who works with volunteers - It’s Volunteers’ Week again and thanks to Paul Whitlock of the Virtual Volunteering Project we have a special edition Newsletter that includes quotes from some of your volunteers.

This Newsletter has been sent out to all the prospective volunteers on our database in the hope that some of the quotes will generate new interest and lead to more volunteer enquires.

The newsletter and Volunteer Week DVD have been sent to members of the City Council, we have included a link to the Special Edition of Volunteer Voice (in pdf format) and we are trying to find a way of putting the film online on our website - watch this space!

We wish all organisations good luck in any events or celebrations they are organising for their volunteers.

Download a Word template 'Certificate of Appreciation' for your volunteers for Volunteers' Week.
