"One off" opportunities
A ‘one off’ volunteering opportunity takes place during a set period of time with an end date/time; quite often this can be one day. The type of activity varies from organisation to organisation. Activities can range from cleaning up a vandalised community garden; fundraising by packing bags in super markets or, supporting people at Christmas. Getting involved in one or more ‘one off’ opportunities allows you to:  Have a go at volunteering without committing yourself to a long-term opportunity Experiment with different organisations and activities‘One off’ opportunities are also a great way for teams of people to get involved and have fun.
